New Mahindra XUV300 Flex Fuel Engine
The unveiled XUV300 Flex Fuel uses a 1.2-liter inline three-cylinder turbo-charged petrol engine, mated to a manual gearbox. This engine option generates 109 bhp and 200 Nm of peak torque. The great thing about this engine option is that it is compatible with flex fuel.
The turbocharged petrol engine has been operated under the Government of India’s new BS6 Phase 2 and is now also operated under E85, making it ready to run completely on ethanol-blended fuel up to 85% percent. Currently, 20% ethanol blended fuel (E20) is used in the Indian market.
