Mercedes Benz GLS Facelift: luxury car manufacturer Mercedes-Benz has launched the facelift variant of its flagship SUV GLS in India. The company showcased this vehicle in the global market in April last year.
Mercedes has introduced the GLS facelift with several important updates. Changes have been made in both the exterior and interior of this car. This vehicle is built on Modular High Architecture (MHA) platform.

The petrol version of the new Mercedes-Benz GLS facelift, the GLS 450 model, has been launched for Rs 1.32 crore and the 450D diesel model has been launched at Rs 1.37 crore (ex-showroom).

Talking about the design of Mercedes-Benz GLS facelift, horizontal chrome strips are seen in the grill design. This gives the car an excellent design and sporty look. 21-inch alloy wheels have been provided in GLS facelift.
It comes with air inlet grilles with high-gloss black surround on the front bumper. Apart from this, the headlamp has been given a new LED pattern. The design of its LED taillights has also been updated.
Talking about the features of Mercedes-Benz GLS facelift, it has been given an advanced MBUX infotainment system. The cabin has a 7-seater cabin with leather upholstery, multi-zone climate control, panoramic sunroof, and multi-color ambient lighting.

It has a 12.3-inch freestanding driver display and 11.9-inch infotainment panel, which supports wireless Apple CarPlay and Android Auto. Besides, it also has a 13-speaker Burmester 590-watt audio system.
Apart from this, wireless charging has been provided at both front and rear in the cabin for smartphone users. A new steering wheel has also been included in this facelift car.
Talking about the safety features of Mercedes-Benz GLS facelift, it include 9 airbags, ABS with EBD, electronic stability control, 360-degree camera, and ADAS system. Apart from this, features like lane keep assist, adaptive cruise control, and auto emergency braking are also provided.

Talking about the powertrain of Mercedes-Benz GLS facelift, its GLS 400D model has a 3.0-litre 6-cylinder diesel engine, which generates power of 325Bhp and peak torque of 700Nm.
The GLS 450 trim has a 3.0-litre petrol engine, which is capable of generating 360Bhp power. Let us tell you that both the engines are connected to 48V hybrid setup. Booking of this car has been started. According to the report, delivery will also be started soon.
