Tata Motors has revealed the Punch EV after a long wait and is preparing for its launch this month. The company wants Punch Electric (EV) to be something special and hence the features available in it will also be state-of-the-art.
Tata Punch Electric SUV Booking
Tata Punch EV is going to get many new and advanced features compared to its petrol model. Tata Motors has also started booking for Punch EV. You can book the Punch EV built on the new Acti.ev platform for a token amount of Rs 21,000.
However, even before the official announcement by the company, the price of Punch EV has been leaked on the internet. After Nexon, Tigor, and Tiago EV, Tata has now given electric metal to the popular micro SUV Punch.
After the start of booking, this electric SUV is now getting good response. Although the specifications and price have not been revealed yet, the Punch EV has been booked by many people.
Tata Punch Electric SUV Price
It is being told that those who have booked this new electric micro-SUV are reportedly being informed about the price through email. The price of Tata Punch EV has been shared on the Tesla Club India exchange.
The prices of both variants of Punch EV have been leaked in the shared post. According to the post, Tesla Club of India member Hariraj Rathod has received a mail regarding the price.
If reports are to be believed, he has booked Long Range Empowered+ of Tata Punch EV. This model will come with a 3.3 kW charger with a sunroof. The price of this variant of Punch EV is said to be Rs 16,13,729.
Tata Punch Electric SUV Ex-Showroom Price
In another post, Tesla Club India has also shared the price of the Adventure LR variant of Punch EV. The price of this variant is Rs 13,73,846 (ex-showroom). Let us tell you that Adventure is the second base variant of Punch EV.
However, Tata Motors has come to know about the price information of Punch EV appearing on the Tesla Club of India account and has clarified the matter through its social media account.
Tata Motors explained in its post that this happened due to a technical glitch and the official prices of the EV will be revealed during the launch. But interestingly, Tata has not disagreed with the leaked price of Punch EV.
However, we do not confirm whether the prices shared on X are correct or not. Let us tell you that currently, the TATA Tiago EV hatchback is the entry-level EV of Tata. Its ex-showroom price ranges from Rs 8.69 lakh to Rs 12.04 lakh.
Nexon EV is the company’s most expensive model in the EV lineup, priced at Rs 14.74 lakh and Rs 19.94 lakh respectively. The price of the new Punch EV is likely to be between these two.
