A significant increase is being seen in the demand for electric cars in India. These cars are being liked because of their low cost and maintenance as compared to petrol-diesel cars.
Mahindra XUV400 Pro Launch
Keeping in view the customer demand, the leading automobile manufacturer Mahindra has launched the updated XUV400 in the Indian market. The company has named this updated electric vehicle XUV400 Pro.
Mahindra has now introduced new PRO variants named EC PRO and EL PRO variants. The new EV comes with an updated dashboard, new features, a dual-tone theme, and more technology than before. Its old dashboard and climate control panel design have been updated to look more modern. The passenger side of the dashboard now gets a piano black insert in place of storage.
Mahindra XUV400 Pro Price and Booking
Mahindra XUV400 Pro has been introduced in three variants. The price of this EV starts from ₹ 15.49 lakh (ex-showroom). Bookings for the updated electric SUV will begin tomorrow with a token amount of ₹ 21,000.
Mahindra XUV400 Pro Car Delivery Date
Please note that the current price of this EV is valid only till May 31, 2024. Deliveries of Mahindra XUV400 Pro will start from 1 February 2024. The company will update the price of the car again after May.
Mahindra XUV400 Pro Features
The climate control of the EV has also been updated, it now looks like the XUV700 and Scorpio N. Apart from this, the central AC vent of the XUV400 has also been repositioned to accommodate the larger infotainment unit. Apart from this, the steering wheel has also been installed like XUV700. Many new features have been included in the cabin of XUV400. These include a large 10.25-inch touchscreen system and a 10.25-inch digital driver display.
Apart from this, dual-zone AC, Type-C USB charger for rear seat passengers, and new rear AC vents are included. Apart from this, facilities like wireless phone charging, sunroof, push-button start/stop and height adjustable driver’s seat are also provided in it. There has been no change in the safety features of this electric SUV of Mahindra. It has features like six airbags, a reverse camera, a tire pressure monitoring system (TPMS), and electronic stability control (ESP).
Mahindra XUV400 Pro Battery and Range
Mahindra has not made any changes in the electric powertrain of the XUV400. The EV is offered with two battery pack options. These include 34.5 kWh and 39.4 kWh batteries. The company has claimed that their ranges are 375 km and 456 km respectively. Both battery packs are paired with the same 150 PS/310 Nm electric motor. However, the option of both battery packs is available in the EL PRO variant.
